Andrew Huxman

I have always had a love for aviation for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Southern California in the 1960's, I was surrounded by aviation companies and military bases. Watching air shows at Pt Mugu, Edwards, and El Toro, had a great influence on me when I was young.

I have always had a love for photography as well, with my first SLR being the Minolta SRT-101. My Father built a darkroom for me, and soon I was developing and printing my own images in Black and White. Over time I kind of drifted away from photography, but it was never very far from my heart.

When digital photography came into the mainstream, I decided to get involved once again. By then I was living in the Midwest and was virtually surrounded by air shows.

I just simply put my two loves together and went forward. The last 5 years of travel, photography, and meeting great people in the aviation world, has proved to be quite rewarding, and great fun! I have been very fortunate to have had some of my work published, and some hanging on military squadron walls.
