AirVenture Oshkosh 2010
Taken during the week at AirVenture Oshkosh 2010, are photos of the Foundation A-4 Skyhawk, alone and in various formations, and the Foundation AD-1 Skyraider, shown carrying it's new simulated ordnance. The Skyraider was also featured in the Saturday afternoon "Warbirds in Review" presentation on July 31st.
Paul Wood flies the Foundation A-4 Skyhawk
On June 30, 2010, Warbird Heritage Foundation Founder Paul R. Wood flew the Foundation A-4 Skyhawk for the first time after receiving his A-4 Type Rating. Congratulations, Paul! After spending the winter having a new seat installed and some fuel system repairs, we are flying the aircraft on a regular basis to prepare for it's first airshow performance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2010.
Naval Air Legacy Flight Training
The Foundation T-2 Buckeye aircraft is shown below flying in formation with another T-2 during Naval Air Legacy Flight training at NAS Lemoore on March 18, 2010. The photographs were taken from the back seat of a USN F/A-18 Hornet, also flying in formation with the T-2's.
